About
Hi, I’m Jeanne Cotter and I am an award winning soft pastel artist. I am passionate about soft pastels; I love colour and texture and art and the immediacy of pastels.

I’m a mum of three, two girls and a boy, all who are now healthy busy adults out in the world doing their own thing and I’m super proud of each of them. I’m also Nanny to little Ruby, who is the light of my life. My husband and I live in Toowoomba, Queensland. I teach art classes for adult beginners in my home studio, you can find out all about my art classes at Delicious Art

Career-wise, I am a graphic designer and creator so I’ve been into design and art forever. Back in my hay-day I worked at Myer as a Visual Merchandiser (window dresser). I love to teach, connect and create.

I am one of the founders of the Toowoomba Studio Art Trail which Cindy MacDonald and I launched in 2023 with great excitement and success. This initiative is now an annual event where a small selected group of local Toowoomba artists open their home studios to the public every weekend in September in conjunction with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. Come and visit me!
